On November 14, Chinese men’s basketball national player Zeng Fanbo has not yet decided where his “next home” will be since he was waived by the Nets. Now, according to media reports from the media, Detective Zhao, Zeng Fanbo has returned to Beijing from Australia to report to the national team and participate in the national team training of the Chinese men's basketball team in preparation for the World Cup preliminaries.

In the third game of the CBA semifinals at the end of April this year, Zeng Fanbo was fouled and injured by Liu Chuanxing, resulting in a lumbar transverse process fracture. He then went to Germany and Australia for professional rehabilitation, and was out for several months and missed the Men's Basketball Asian Cup.

Zeng Fanbo previously signed with the Nets, but it was only a training camp contract. He only played in one of the two NBA China games, and was subsequently waived by the Nets and had no chance to land in the NBA.

After Zeng Fanbo was waived by the Nets, he went to Australia to continue his recovery. Australia's top sports medicine resources provided a great boost to his recovery. While Zeng Fanbo was recovering in Melbourne, he received invitations from multiple NBL teams, as well as invitations from many prestigious NCAA schools.

It's just that Zeng Fanbo has not yet decided on his "next home". He now gives priority to responding to the national team's recruitment and returning home to play. Zeng Fanbo has returned to Beijing to report to the Chinese Men's Basketball National Team and will participate in the next national team training camp to prepare for the upcoming first window of the 2027 Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.

The first window period of the Chinese Men’s Basketball World Cup preliminaries will be a home game against the South Korean team on November 28, and an away game against the South Korean team on December 1. Zeng Fanbo returns to the national team and is expected to compete in the first window of the World Cup preliminaries. He has excellent outside firepower and defensive ability, which will undoubtedly improve the team's strength.
