Baran Davis: Thibodeau s recession reminds me of the Rockets letting Ariza away, the team is no longer like before
June 9th, former NBA player Baron Davis talked about the dismissal of Thibodeau in a podcast program co-hosted with Zhu Meng.
Baron Davis said: "Maybe they don't need a new voice, maybe they're just 1 or 2 players away. I remember the Rockets let Ariza go, and people didn't pay much attention, but I said the Rockets will never be the same as before. Because in the locker room, you need someone to hold everyone responsible."
The 2018 Western Conference Finals, the Rockets lost 3-4 to the Warriors. On July 1, 2018, Ariza joined the Suns with a one-year contract of $15 million.
