Flag: I m really lucky to join the Mavericks. I have the opportunity to learn from these veterans.
June 28th, today, the Mavericks held a press conference for No. 1 pick Flag.
Speaking of joining the Mavericks, Flag said: "Many players in the same position as me don't have such opportunities, so I feel really lucky and grateful for the opportunity I got. I just want to be like a sponge: come here, learn, absorb everything, and listen to the big guys who have experienced it all. These players have so much knowledge, they have experienced a lot, and are extremely experienced, and it will be an incredible opportunity for me to learn and grow around them."
