According to Mavericks Afses, Levley is expected to catch up with the Mavericks training camp after undergoing foot surgery in the offseason.

Lefley underwent a surgery in July to remove bone spurs from her right foot and required walking boots early after the operation. In January this year, he was diagnosed with a stress fracture on the same foot. Earlier reports said that health and performance director Billsboro and athletic performance director Belton had clashed over the handling of Lefley's foot injury.

These injuries caused Lefly to play only 36 games last season, scoring 8.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 blocks in 23.1 minutes of playing time.

Yesterday, the Mavericks released a video of Lefley training in Philadelphia where he has been training with Clin, the team's chief video coordinator.

In addition to rehabilitation training, Lefley also communicated with Mavericks No. 1 pick Flag during most of the offseason, providing him with advice and helping him adapt to the NBA environment.
