Remarks against the sky! Iguodala is the most trashy All-Star in NBA history...

Basketball

No doubt Andre Iguodala was one of the founders of the Warriors' dynasty! Without Iguodala's successful defense against LeBron James in the Finals in those years and his magical performance in those series, the Warriors would not have been likely to have won so many NBA championships! There is no doubt that Iguodala plays an indispensable role in Cole's "Death Five Smalls" winning lineup.

As the first man to snatch FMVP from Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala can be regarded as a historical championship puzzle! It is precisely because of the joining of Iguodala that their lineup can be upgraded to a championship team. Although Iguodala is not the top three choices in the "Cosmic Brave" lineup, even the fifth choice is not completely considered! But Iguodala played a crucial role with his unique temperament, thus becoming one of the absolute merits of the Warriors Dynasty.

However, it is such a man who helped the Warriors establish a dynasty, but is now called the most trashy All-Star in NBA history by a guy named Jeff Teague! Recently, former NBA player Jeff Teague talked about Andre Iguodala, who was selected as an All-Star in his career, on the show.

Jeff Teague said: "Even if Iguodala is the team's first choice, he can't score crazy data, with a maximum of 20 points. He has been to the All-Star once. You can ask Louis Williams about this. The reason he entered the All-Star is that the coach does not want Lu Wei to enter. People always say that I had the most trasty data when I entered the All-Star, but Iguodala is the one who is the most trasty."

According to statistics, in the only All-Star season in Iguodala's career, he played 62 regular season games for the Philadelphia 76ers, averaged 35.6 minutes per game, scored 12.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.7 breaks and 0.5 shots, shooting percentage of 45.4%, three-point shooting percentage of 39.1%, and free throw shooting percentage of 61.7%. Iguodala's teammate Lou Wei has played 64 games this season, averaging 26.3 minutes per game, contributing 14.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.8 breaks and 0.3 shots, shooting percentage of 40.7%, three-point shooting percentage of 36.2%, and free throw shooting percentage of 81.2%.

Judging from the data, Iguodala and Louis Williams are indeed comparable! Maybe Iguodala is slightly better, but don’t forget that Lou Wei basically plays as a substitute, while Iguodala is the core player of the 76ers at the time. In addition, Iguodala's average score per game in his career season was indeed not more than 20 points, with the highest average of 19.9 points in the 2007-08 season. From this point of view, what Jeff Teague said seems to make some sense!

But Jeff Teague, who was selected as an All-Star in his entire NBA career, actually has no better data. In the 2014-15 season when Jeff Teague was selected as an All-Star in his career, he played 73 regular season games for the Hawks, averaging 30.3 minutes per game, scoring 15.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, 7 assists, 1.7 breaks and 0.4 shots, shooting percentage of 46%, three-point shooting percentage of 34.3%, and free throw shooting percentage of 86.2%.

There is no doubt that Jeff Teague's statement that Andre Iguodala is the most trashy All-Star in NBA history is completely untenable! In order to rush to get rid of the most trasty All-Star tag in his history, he can directly lead the fire to Iguodala, which is even more undesirable! Obviously, Jeff Teague's move not only cannot tear off his label, but will also make people disgusted with him. What do you think about this?
