June 27th News Earlier, Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic announced his retirement, and his professional basketball career came to an end.

wrote in his retirement statement: "First of all, thanks to the battle, joy, happiness and sorrow we have experienced together over the past 30 years. Now is the time for me to bid farewell to this magical sport under the basket. Behind me - in us - are years of passion, struggle and sacrifice. There are trophys won, and there are lost finals. It is all part of basketball and part of life. I will not change anything, and I will do it all the same way again!"

Teodosic is 38 years old, starting his career in Serbia and then played for many years in Olympiacos (2007-11) and CSKA Moscow (2011-17). He won the UEFA MVP with a Greek club in 2010 and won the UEFA European League championship with a Russian team in 2016.

He played for the Clippers for two seasons between 2017-19. During this period, Teodosic played 60 games for the Clippers, averaging 8.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game, averaged 21.4 minutes of playing time, shooting percentage of 42.0%, three-point shooting percentage of 37.8%, and free throw shooting percentage of 81.1%.

After playing in the NBA, Teodosic returned to Europe and played for Italy's Bologna Vertus (2019-23) and Serbia's Red Stars (2023-25), and his career ended.

Teodosic was selected into the first team of the European League three times between 2010 and 2nd team three times, and was selected into the 2010s Europa League's Best Team of the Ten Year. He is the 13th place in the European League's all-time scoring list and 6th in total assists. Teodosic also represented Serbia in a number of international events, including the 2016 Rio Olympics, where Serbia won the silver medal.
