June 7, According to Forbes Sports NBA reporter Evan Sidery, the Bulls are using center Vucevic to fight for additional draft assets.
The reporter said that the Bulls prioritize building teams around young core players, and Vucevic hopes to join a competitive team. If a team provides Vucevic with a bid for the late first-round draft pick before this year's draft (June 26 and 27), the Bulls will be happy to accept it.
Vucevic's contract has one year left, and his salary in the 2025-26 season is US$21.48 million.
In the 2024-25 season, Vucevic played 73 regular season games for the Bulls, averaging 18.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, with shooting percentages of 53%, 40.2% and 80.5% respectively in the three events.
