AC Milan fans finally waited for the team to sign a new striker. According to the latest report from Italian transfer expert Romano, AC Milan signed Leverkusen's 24-year-old Nigerian striker Bonifas by renting first and then buying. AC Milan first rented Bonifas for 5 million euros for one year, including a buyout clause of 24 million euros. If the trigger condition is activated, the buyout can be converted into a forced buyout clause.

Bonifas joined Leverkusen from San Giros United for a transfer fee of 22.6 million euros in the summer window of 2023. He has been a 2-year pharmaceutical factory career with 32 goals and 12 assists in 61 matches. He has won the Bundesliga once + 1 German Cup with the team. He was elected the Bundesliga Player of the Month in August 2024.

Bonifas, 24, is 1.90 meters tall, has a right-footed player, and focuses on the center position. The contract with Leverkusen will be estimated at 40 million euros until 2028. Bonifas played only 27 times in all competitions due to injuries last season, including 16 starts, with a total of 1,386 minutes, but still scored 11 goals, and the goal efficiency is quite high.

Why did Leverkusen sell Bonifas at a low price? The main reason is the player's personality problem. Otherwise, the 24-year-old striker who is worth 40 million euros would not be able to switch to AC Milan for a total price of 29 million euros.
