Sinner returned to play after the doping sentence
The Rome Masters event that started from 7/5 will mark the return of Sinner for the first time since the three -month ban. Italian player was officially practiced from two weeks ago and will participate in the Masters 1000 at home to start the Roland Garros campaign. Sinner will fight Mariano Navone or Federico Cina in the first round, and may meet the Madrid champion expansion of Casper Ruud in the quarterfinals.
Sources from Italy says Sinner is also likely to play at the ATP 500 in Hamburg, the tournament ends right before Roland Garros opened. Rome Masters also marked the return of Carlos Alcaraz, after two weeks of nursing to abandon Madrid to expand.

"The goal is completely energetic at Roland Garros, but I also want to achieve 100% of the form at Rome to verify myself," Alcaraz said before leaving for Italy. The Spanish player will be sure to reach the number of two worlds if he reached the semi -finals of Rome Masters, or the Alexander Zverev champion failed to defend the title. These are the possibilities that are likely to occur and Alcaraz can go to Roland Garros with the number two seed position, thereby avoiding Sinner until the final. He said that the Italian opponent still played with the peak performance and "No seems to lose the feeling of the ball ". Sinner did not have to protect points in Rome, because at this tournament last year, he had hip injuries and absent.
In an interview with Italian media last week, Sinner said he was creating a bubble for himself, to avoid criticism and sarcasm from the public, including colleagues. "In Australia, many players looked at me with other eyes, when they met me in the dressing room or restaurant. That was pressure, and it really made me want to leave tennis for a while," the 23 -year -old man expressed.. Serbia superstar initially tried to rest completely to Roland Garros, but currently considering attending the expanded Geneva - ATP 250 took place in the last week before Roland Garros. Last year Djokovic was in the semi -finals, then flew straight to Paris.
