Farewell to the NBA? European media: Holmes will join Panasinacos soon
August 5 According to European media Eurohoops, Holmes will join Panasinakos soon.
Homes was previously considering the options of staying in the NBA and joining Panasinakos, hoping to obtain a guarantee contract in the NBA, and if it fails, join Panasinakos.
However, after failing to obtain a guarantee contract from any NBA team, Holmes has actually decided to continue to advance the process of joining Panasinakos.
31-year-old Holmes was cut by the Wizards on July 15. His contract of $13.28 million in 2025-26 was only guaranteed, which means he only received $250,000 in the end.
Last season, Holmes played 31 games, averaging 17.2 minutes per game and scored 7.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
