James: The best teacher in life is experience. I have been able to reach that state of mind after 6-8 years of career.

May 16th, today, Lakers forward James' podcast program "The Brain of the Field" aired in the sixth episode of the second season, with James and home guest Nash talking about many topics.

Speaking of the tempering of the mentality of the competition, James said: "I agree. The best teacher in life is experience. You need some time. Everyone is different, everyone's mentality and structure, and some people take longer. You need scar tissue to base so that you can persevere until you succeed. It took me 6-8 years in my career to finally reach that state of mind. Even if I do sometimes have mental deviations, I know how to adjust quickly and know how to return to those key points. It's like a snap of my fingers and I can refocus.

"I've experienced this before, what can you do to stay focused again? It took me some time to reach that state of mind, just because of the accumulation of experience. We will all arrive, to all young players, men and women, you will know the moment you are in good mood and you will start doing that on the day of the game. You can rely on that point, no matter the outcome. If you experience similar situations next time, you will know how to deal with them. If that doesn't work, well, we have a game in two days and I'm ready for that moment. We all reach that realm, we feel it, we understand it, we know how to deal with it. ”
