July 18th ESPN reporter Shams Charania reported that Lillard will return to the Trail Blazers.
It is worth mentioning that the Trail Blazers traded Lillard to the Bucks in 2023, in exchange for Zhu Holiday, Kamala and some assets.
They then sent Holiday to the Celtics for Robert Williams III, Brogdon and some assets (one of which eventually brought Avdia).
Now, the Trail Blazers have not only returned to Lillard and Holiday (the latter joined again in a deal with the Celtics this summer), but also have Avdia, Rowe, Kamara, a 2029 first-round pick and two draft pick swaps with the Bucks.
