October 2nd Warriors player Melton attended the team's press conference and was asked about his feelings about being traded by the Warriors last season.
"After all, business is business. As for the situation at that time, I'm very likely to trade myself. I don't have any special feelings about this. I've talked to Dunleavy and Cole before. Melton played 6 games for the Warriors last season, averaging 10.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 breaks per game. After an injury to the left knee cruciate ligament, the Warriors successfully underwent surgery, was reimbursed for the season, and was traded to the Nets in exchange for Schroeder.
Before the start of the new season, Melton returned to the Warriors with a two-year minimum salary contract.
