After the game, Powell accepted an interview with reporters. Talking about his injury (he limped back to the locker room), he said: "I wanted to check to make sure the injury was not more serious than I thought. I always play with injuries because I love this sport so much. The team needs me on the court, and I am happy that the injury is not serious."
