Reed: After the 2008 Olympics, everyone has been raised to a new level. Unfortunately, I suffered a serious injury

Basketball

September 11th News Recently, former NBA player Michael Reed recalled the past of the American men's basketball team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in his personal podcast.

Reid said that after winning the gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, most of the players on that team have improved after returning to the NBA.

Reid said: "Everyone has taken to the next level after that, and everyone is like that. Watching Kobe responded to the loss to the Celtics throughout the season and how he performed that summer. LeBron (James) probably had established himself as the best player in the world at that time. Wade, Bosh, Paul, everyone has had a very good season after that. I think that's partly because we were able to grow together for three consecutive years.

"Unfortunately, in the following season, I suffered an ACL torn in January 2009. It was special because I reached the peak of my career in August 2008, won the gold medal on my birthday, and then suffered an injury in 2009. Since then, people seem to have forgotten me because this premature injury has affected my career. But before getting hurt, I felt unstoppable because I spent the summer playing with these great players. ”
