The Clippers forward star changes his jersey number! Los Angeles has Kobe wearing the No. 24 jersey again?
According to NBA jersey expert Etienne Catalan, Los Angeles Clippers forward star Kobe Brown will replace the No. 21 jersey he wore in the previous two seasons in the new season and switch to the No. 24 jersey. A player wearing a No. 24 jersey on the Clippers was Norman Powell, the backcourt scorer who played for the team last season, but before this offseason, he was sent to the Miami Heat in a three-party deal by the Clippers.
Brown was born in January 2000. He is 25 years old, 201cm tall and weighs 113kg. He is the Clippers' 30th pick in the first round of the 2023 NBA Draft. In the past two seasons, Brown has made a total of 84 appearances in the NBA regular season, averaging 7.9 minutes of playing time, averaging 2 points, 1.5 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.2 steals, and 0.1 blocks, 0.2 turnovers and 0.9 fouls, shooting percentage of 43.2%, shooting percentage of 27% from three-pointers and shooting percentage of 66.7%.
In the NBA regular season last season, Brown made a total of 40 appearances in 82 games, averaging 6.8 minutes per game, averaging 1.9 points, 1.6 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.2 steals and 0.1 blocks, and 0.3 turnovers and 0.6 fouls. His shooting percentage was 45.8%, a three-point shooting percentage of 23.1%, and a free throw shooting percentage of 71.4%. In the playoffs, Brown only played 3 times for the team, with only 5 minutes per game, averaged 5.3 points, 0.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, shooting percentage of 87.5%, three-point shooting percentage of 100%, and free throw shooting percentage of 100%. In the NBA Development League last season, Brown played 6 times for the San Diego Clippers, a subordinate team of the Clippers, with averaging 33.3 minutes per game, with averaging 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.8 steals, 0.3 blocks, and 3.3 turnovers and 2.2 fouls. His shooting percentage was 47.4%, his three-point shooting percentage was 36.6%, and his free throw shooting percentage was 80%.
Brown is actually a relatively mature player. He often performs well in the NBA Development League. He has comprehensive scoring ability on the offensive end, rich offensive methods, good passing ability and support ability. He also has good personal defensive ability on the defensive end, and his defensive attitude is also quite positive. However, he has never been able to get enough playing time and performance opportunities in the NBA, which is also an important factor in the relatively bleak data. It is also very interesting for Brown to choose to change his jersey number this time. Kobe from Los Angeles is wearing No. 24, which also shows that Brown is a very thoughtful player. Next season, will Brown usher in his own big explosion?
