Bayern fans boycott Boateng s return after he beat his girlfriend to death

Hupu News, October 18th Although Jerome Boateng originally planned to return to his old club Bayern Munich to complete his coaching internship, he encountered severe criticism and resistance from some fans.

Before he retired, the German player was accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and was warned by the German court that the Bavarian court would no longer accept the case because the victim passed away and she could no longer appear in court as a witness.

(So the case is not as innocent as Boateng said orally, but there is no way to judge it from a legal perspective)

The former defender played for Bayern Munich from 2011 to 2021, and he had previously obtained permission from the club and head coach Vincent Kompany. However, a final return date has yet to be determined.

This date may never be set as some fans object to the decision. An online petition titled "Limit misogynist violence: Jerome Boateng should not be allowed to return to Bayern Munich" has collected thousands of signatures.

The Bavarian club has yet to make a decision.

In September, Vincent Kompany promised that he would welcome the former defender "to spend a few weeks with us and share his experience as a top defender". However, he may not know that as early as 2023, fans have already criticized the club for considering offering him a final contract, because in the eyes of fans, the incident revealed by Der Spiegel is indeed too embarrassing.
