In an interview with Saudi media on October 21, the chairman of the Saudi Football Association revealed Mancini’s actual salary and liquidated damages.
Saudi Football Association Chairman Yasser said that the rumors about Mancini’s 50 million euros termination bonus and his 25 million euros annual salary are all lies.
Mancini's actual annual salary is about one-third of the rumored amount, about 8 million euros; as for liquidated damages, it is almost three months' salary, which is about 2 million euros.
In August 2023, Mancini suddenly announced his resignation due to conflicts with the Italian Football Association. Subsequently, he accepted an invitation from the Saudi national team and signed a contract until 2027.
