Experts: The most worried about Villa PSR s financial situation, their salary of 100 pounds last season accounted for 91 pounds

June 11, football finance expert Kieran Maguire revealed in an interview with Sky Sports News that the club must "act smartly" in transfer operations this summer, given Aston Villa's high payroll and potential risks of PSR (profit and sustainability rules).

He said: "Of courses in the 20 Premier League clubs, I think Villa is the one we are most worried about. Last season, when they qualify for the Champions League, £91 of every £100 of their income was used to pay the players. After these players are qualifying for the Champions League, the salary in the contract will also increase accordingly."

"In addition, Villa has performed well in the Champions League, which is also a big benefit. At the same time, they also sold some players in the transfer market last summer and in January this year. But I think Villa still needs to be cautious. Among all clubs that need to sell players by June 30 to relieve stress, Villa is probably the most popular one because they have spent a lot of money in the years before entering the European competition."
