The dragon boat in my country's traditional sports event, which has been passed down for thousands of years, has appeared at the Chengdu World Games as a formal competition event for the first time. The dragon boat events of this World Games are divided into 8-seater dragon boats and 10-seater dragon boats, which are more competitive and ornamental than the traditional 20-seater system. To promote gender equality, the competition also stipulates that each ship must have at least 4 female players. Team members are divided into helmsman, drummer and paddler according to their responsibilities.
