Leeds United coach: Bamford has been informed that he is not in the new season plan and he can stay in the team for training

July 20th The Yorkshire Evening Post reported that Bamford will leave Leeds United and he is not in the team's plan.

Head coach Daniel Falke has informed the forward that he is not in the team's Premier League plan. Bamford did not go to Sweden with the team to participate in the preseason draw with Manchester United 0-0, and will not participate in the German training camp after communicating with the coach.

Falke revealed in a post-match interview that after a difficult conversation, the 30-year-old striker who played for the team's nine-year-old Leeds United career is about to end. Falk said: "I had a very candid conversation with him, which is very important because Bamford knew how much I value him. I have always emphasized the most about seeing a completely healthy Bamford. He also understands my appreciation of his personal qualities, so I think it is a responsibility to make it open to him the next day of the preseason. I directly inform him not to be in the Premier League plan for the new season."

Falk pointed out that Bamford has suffered injuries in recent years and has been limited in playing time under his command, but he firmly believes that the 31-year-old shooter can still score goals if he becomes the core of other teams. He said: "At this stage, Bamford needs to be the absolute main force, and needs to receive support and encouragement to rebuild confidence. As long as these conditions are met, he can score goals in any level of league, he is a top player. But considering the situation in the past two seasons, I cannot promise him to be a fixed main position. Frankly speaking, players like him who have been the core for a long time should no longer accept the substitute."

Bamford has been training with the team before, but Falk has set a deadline for reducing the number of forwards in Germany's training camp. He said that Bamford can choose to stay at the club base and train with the left-behind coaching staff, and can also maintain its state with the U21 echelon before it is confirmed in the future. Falk praised the players for showing their top professional attitude towards this and always trained and focused throughout the pre-season preparation.

Leeds United is looking for a center in the transfer market, with Brazilian striker Rodrigo Moonis, who had previously locked in Fulham's main goal.
