Gasperini is a very good coach who has proved his worth and has achieved some unique achievements in Atlanta. We are all glad he is now the head coach of Rome and he taught me a lot and it will be a huge challenge. We know his football style is a high-intensity and aggressive game, and the pre-season training camp this summer will be tough. I was curious and happy to be able to work with him.

The only goal is to make Roma better and return to the Champions League.

There is no personal problem between me and the coach. I think it's just a technical choice for coaches and we have to accept the coach's decision. I have always been grateful to coach Spaletti for taking me to last year's Euro and also for letting me play against Switzerland, but unfortunately it was a bad game.

The national team is unique to everyone, not just players playing for the national team. I feel sorry for my national teammates, but when I was selected, I could see that the national team was very united.
