Rashford criticized Manchester United: Changing coaches is like changing clothes, reconstruction is empty talk, Amorin s plan is all passive response

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford completed his second loan departure during Ruben Amorin's coaching period. He recently talked about the current situation of the club.

Marcus Rashford believes that Manchester United has frequently changed head coaches in recent years and is now in a "no man's land." Ruben Amorin is now in charge of the coach, and the Portuguese coach is preparing for his first full coaching season.

But this season, Rashford will not appear in Old Trafford. The England international has joined Barcelona on loan and if everything goes well, he may stay in Catalonia forever. Although his current focus is on La Liga, he still regrets the changes at Old Trafford, which are what they are today.

"People say we have been rebuilding over the years, but to rebuild, we have to start first. But in fact, the real reconstruction has not started yet," Rashford said in the podcast "The RestisFootball". "When Liverpool went through a similar stage, they invited Klopp and then supported him unswervingly. He didn't win any championship at the beginning. People only remember the days when he coached against Manchester City in the later stages and won important trophysical quotations."

"To start reconstruction, you have to make plans and persist in implementing them. This is what I call 'recognizing your own situation'. We have changed too many head coaches, and our tactical concepts and strategies have changed again and again, and we only wanted to win, but we fell into a no-man's land."

Klopp led the team to the UEFA Cup final in his first season at Liverpool (lost to Sevilla). Amorin did this in his first season with Manchester United, but it remains to be seen whether the club will be as patient as Liverpool.

Klopp led the team to the Champions League final after coaching at Anfield for two and a half years, and won his first trophy three and a half years later. Since Sir Ferguson left Old Trafford in 2013, no head coach in United has been in office for three years.

Rashford looked back at the Ferguson era and the years that followed, "Which team has ever seen that survives by constantly adjusting? When Ferguson coached, not only did the first team have clear principles, but the entire youth training system is like this - you can pick people from the echelons of 15 years old, this is a whole generation of players. They all understand the principle of 'Manchester United style of playing', don't they?"

"Any long-term successful team has Its core principle: Any new coach or new player joining must conform to these principles or contribute to them. "

" But sometimes I think that Manchester United is just... eager to win, so they are always adjusting and signing players suitable for the current system. But this is all passive response."

Indeed, Manchester United's signings this summer are also to adapt to the head coach's system - they are preparing to start the new season in Sunday's game against Arsenal.

Matéus Cunia and Brian Mbemo joined the team to play the double 10 position in Amorin's 3-4-2-1 formation; the club also spent 74 million pounds to sign Benjamin Sesco to make him the new No. 9. Last season, Rasmus Hoylund and Joshua Zilkize, the inefficient forward combination, have struggled to support it, and Manchester United has invested 200 million pounds to build the forward line he wants for Amorin.

Diego Leon's joining has enhanced the depth of defense, and new players may join before the transfer window is closed. Amorin believes that fierce competition in the lineup is a good thing.

"It should have been, unlike last season when we had to get 11 starts," he said after Saturday's friendly against Fiorentina. "It's normal, so I have to think about it, and the players have to compete in a week of training - they can change my mind, I have preliminary plans, but they will make me change my mind in training."

"It's going to be tough because we have to arrange a whole week of training: two high-intensity training, leaving time to polish the details, and then make a little adjustment, and focus on the game strategy for the last two days so we're ready."
