May 22 According to Spanish media cadenaser, Real Madrid is willing to wait until the Club World Cup before signing Alvaro Fernandez from Benfica.

Real Madrid has signed central defender Wyson and will strive to introduce two full-backs, namely right-back Arnold and left-back Alvaro Fernandez. Media pointed out that Real Madrid is expected to sign Alvaro Fernandez this summer, but the signing time may be later than Real Madrid expected. Benfica also needs to participate in this summer's Club World Cup and regards Alvaro Fernandez as an important player during the Club World Cup, so he is unwilling to sell players before the Club World Cup.

However, Real Madrid will not give up Alvaro Fernandez because of this, but rather wait. If he cannot sign him in early June, then Real Madrid is willing to sign him in mid-July after the Club World Cup. Real Madrid have regarded Alvaro Fernandez as an important player in the left-back position next season.

If Alvaro Fernandez cannot represent Real Madrid in the Club World Cup this summer, then Real Madrid's new coach Alonso will bring the two left-backs, Mendy and Fran Garcia, to the Club World Cup.
