August 20th According to TheAthletic, Nottingham Forest is considering introducing Villa defender Cash.

TA's report pointed out that Forest hopes to strengthen the right back, and Cash is one of their choices, and the team has been seeking to introduce Manchester City player Rico Lewis. Villa has not received a formal offer yet, and Cash's existing contract expires in 2027, and the club has been discussing renewal in recent months.

Cash played for Forest from 2016 to 2020, playing for the team 141 times, contributing 13 goals and 14 assists. He joined Villa for 14 million pounds in the summer of 2020. Cash's salary may be challenging for the forest, but he is more comprehensive and cheaper than Lewis. Lewis' transfer fee is much higher, and he publicly expressed his desire to stay at Manchester City.
