Hupu, August 16th, recently, Arsenal defender Timbert was interviewed by the English media Daily Mirror. The Dutchman also talked about many topics and situations about himself and the club in the interview.

About the view of coach Arteta

With Arteta as our head coach, our best time at Arsenal is coming. The culture he created at the club, and his vision for top football, is pushing Arsenal to new heights.

Arteta is a top coach. He really improves your abilities as a player. In such a short time, I learned a lot from him. He is greatly pushing me to play my best self as a person and as a player.

Throughout my recovery, I felt Arteta's strong support and trust. In the late stages, he kept supporting me when I made progress in the recovery process and had the opportunity to train with the team again and my comeback was approaching.

Trust and help give me the confidence to play again. Because it is not easy to return to the field after a knee cruciate ligament injury. But I know there's a reason I play for Arsenal, and I do feel healthy again. But then I had to get the same feeling and form moments as the players in the game.

Of course, I also had bad moments, and my emotions were ups and downs during my first year of hard work. Everyone in the club treated me well. I have been working with him since I was 16 and I am also very good at personal psychology coaching.

Regarding the club's performance in the Champions League last season, I thought 'This is what I worked for. In the home game, we had our own fans, which caused a sensation. I also liked the performance at the Bernabeu. It’s a shame we were knocked out by Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals and as a team we had a feeling that we could beat them.

About getting along with other Arsenal teammates

Saka is one of the players who have done a lot for me since I came to Arsenal. I made a very close connection with him and we spent a lot of time together outside the club. This summer the two of us even went to Wimbledon to watch tennis. He is a very enthusiastic person.

But there is a group of people of my age, and I get along well with them. Saliba, Calafiori and Trosad. We also tried to help some young lads like Envanery, Skelly and Thetford, a goalkeeper with half Dutch descent.
