Wood: The goal is passed by teammates + instinct; I hope Forest will introduce more new players faster
Tiger Pu, August 17th Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood was interviewed by BBCMOTD after defeating Brentford 3-1.
"We just want to continue the glory of last season. It was a good start, but the season was long."
About his two goals:
"The first ball fell beautifully at my feet and I kicked the ball into the goal. Elliott (Anderson) passed the ball beautifully, and I went around and sent the ball into the goal. The first ball was instinctive."
What is the plan for Nottingham Forest this season?
"We hope to continue the momentum of last season and achieve better results. We know we still have European games, but we want to keep moving forward."
Are you looking forward to the team having more signings?
"Hopefully by the end of the transfer window, our roster is strong enough, we have brought in two players, hoping to bring in third place soon. Once these players are in place, we have enough rotations."
