July 2, Detroit News reporter Robert Snell reported the story behind Beasley's suspected football bet by the FBI investigation.

RobertSnell reported that Beasley's investigation into suspected betting was not the only trouble he caused. After the investigation, the relevant departments found that Beasley's financial situation in the past few years was a mess.

Sources said that due to Beasley's alleged investigation, the Pistons revoked the three-year, $42 million contract that was originally intended to be given to Beasley.

In April this year, Beasley was sued by Hazan Sports Agency and did not return the $650,000 in cash borrowed by Beas using his name and portrait rights and other marketing income. The company asked Beasley to be sentenced to an additional $2.25 million for breach of contract.

In addition, in April this year, Beasley also received a lawsuit document, a company that provides loan services to professional athletes. They sued Beasley for owing $5.8 million three years ago, and Beasley repaid $1.13 million in early 2023.

About August, Beasley and a Florida company that provides bridge loans to professional athletes signed an agreement in which Beasley used his current and future NBA contract as collateral.

In addition, Beasley's debt also includes owing landlord Stott's apartment $21,505, owing $26,800 to the famous barber team and owing dentists $34,390.
