Jeff Green: Durant was the one he was when he was still a rookie. He kept his hair natural and never combed his hair.
October 3rd News Jeff Green was interviewed and recalled his rookie time with Durant at the Supersonics.
"We were still young people who worked hard to become famous at that time. We grew up only 5-10 minutes' drive away, but we didn't get familiar until the draft.
"He was only 19 years old at that time, and I was only 21 years old. He couldn't go to any place at that time, so we had to stay at home to play games or go to the gymnasium to train, which was our base.
"He was still Durant of that rookie time, and he never combed his hair and kept them natural, which is what I like most about him," said Jeff Green.
