Arsenal official: Envanéri contract renewal, new contract until 2030

Hupu, August 8th, Arsenal officially announced that it had reached a contract renewal with midfielder Envanéri.

Our talented attacking midfielder Ethan Envanelli has joined Arsenal youth training since he was 8 years old. Now he has officially renewed his contract and continues to devote his future to this club that has accompanied him in his growth. His rapid growth and successful entry into the first team at Haiern Youth Training Academy paved the way for this contract.

In 2022, Ethan, who was only 15 years and 181 days, made history, becoming the youngest player in Arsenal men's football history and the youngest player in England's top league history. Last season, he reached a new level and became the England U21 international.

In his outstanding first full first-team season, Ethan played in 37 games (16 of which started) and scored 9 goals. He scored twice in the League Cup against Bolton and scored a long-range world wave against Preston in the next round. Last November, he scored his first Premier League goal, rivaling Nottingham Forest.

In January 2025, Ethan became the third player in history to score three goals in the Premier League before the age of 18, with the first two being Michael Irving and Wayne Rooney. He then won his first goal in the Champions League against Girona. The goal was named the club's goal of the month, and he himself won the Best Player of the Team in February. He also scored a wonderful goal in a 5-1 victory over Manchester City that month.

Ethan worked with countless coaches and teammates during his youth training, constantly improving and growing rapidly, and completed his debut in England's U18 national team on May 2025 on his 18th birthday. He was then selected for the England U21 national team and won the European U21 Championship with the team in June 2025. After signing the contract, Ethan said: "Signing this contract means a lot to me. I regard this season as my first full season in the first team. I am very excited to be a member of the locker room. I look forward to bringing more help to the team, winning games and championships as much as possible, and bringing happiness and glory to the club. This is my home."

Envaneri's new contract will officially take effect after completing the relevant management process.
