Hupu, August 21, Sevilla defender Bade officially set off for Germany this Wednesday, preparing to complete the relevant matters of signing with Leverkusen. The German club will pay Sevilla a transfer fee containing a floating clause of approximately €30 million. The French defender bid farewell to his teammates and fans and has now embarked on a new adventure to the Bundesliga. He will sign with Leverkusen for five seasons, with a contract until June 30, 2030.

The 25-year-old French international also bid farewell to Sevilla fans at Sao Paulo Airport, from where he will take a flight to Cologne, Germany. "Thank you for everything you did, it's a pleasant experience and I hope to come back and see the fans often," Badai said before boarding the plane for Germany.

Bady was sure that he would miss the club he played for and the city of Seville. "I will miss it so much, it's my home. It's not easy to say goodbye to my teammates, the city I live in and the Sevilla fans who always support me," the French central defender added.

Sevilla paid 12 million euros to buy it out after six months of loaning Badei. Leverkusen's transfer fee will bring more than twice the revenue for Sevilla.
