Manchester City suffers a heavy blow in the 2025 Club World Cup

Recommended Network June 3: According to Sports Illustrated, Manchester City confirmed that Croatian midfielder Matteo Kovacic will miss the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup due to an Achilles tendon injury. The club announced that Kovacic had undergone Achilles tendon surgery and would recover throughout the summer. Previously, Kovacic missed the FA Cup final and the last game of the Premier League season due to injury, and missed another game at Manchester City due to suspension.

Although Manchester City did not disclose how long the 31-year-old Kovacic would be injured, according to the Sports Daily, he will be out of here for three months, which means he will miss the entire 2025 Club World Cup.
