On June 28, the teeing ceremony of the 5th "Gongga Cup" Youth Campus Football League Finals (High School Group) of Sichuan Province was held at 3A Sports Park in Pingshan County. At the

ceremony, Zhong Weiping, deputy secretary of the Pingshan County Party Committee and acting county magistrate of the Communist Party of China, delivered a welcome speech. He pointed out that Pingshan County is fortunate to host this event, which is a high recognition of Pingshan Sports work by departments at all levels of the province and the city. He hopes to strengthen exchanges and contacts with brother cities and prefectures through the event, and jointly contribute greater strength to the development of youth campus sports in the province.

The first matches were made by Sichuan Shuangliutanghu Middle School against Liangshan Prefecture Lufeng Middle School and Mianyang Middle School Experimental School against Sichuan Yibin No. 8 Middle School.

Liu Xiaochun, director of the Competition Department of Sichuan Football Association, Xiao Xingping, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Pingshan County People's Congress, and Yu Qingyu, deputy county magistrate of Pingshan County People's Government, attended the kickoff ceremony. The competition supervision and referee supervision of this final were held by Peng Gangyi and Yang Xi respectively.

"Gongga Cup" Youth Campus Sports League is named after the Gongga Mountain, the highest peak in Sichuan. It is co-organized by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, the Sichuan Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League. It is one of the largest, most extensive, most advanced and most appealing school sports brand events in Sichuan. This competition is a high school football event, with 16 teams from 9 cities and prefectures across the province, with 375 athletes participating; they fought fiercely in Pingshan for 5 days and ended at 11:00 on July 2, and the 5th to 8th place, and the 1st to 4th place was implemented in the home and away system.
