The 13th Dalian 100 Cross-Country Race started today. Nearly 3,000 contestants went to the mountains and seas for an appointment.

On the 24th, the 13th Dalian 100 Cross-country Race will start at Fujiazhuang Park Plaza. 2,926 athletes from 12 countries and 188 cities in China gathered in Dalian to witness the start of this classic domestic cross-country running event.

This event is jointly sponsored by Dalian Sports Bureau, Dalian Culture and Tourism Bureau and Leiyue (Beijing) Sports Development Co., Ltd. The event is set up in four groups: 100 kilometers, 73 kilometers, 53 kilometers and 29 kilometers, and set out in three shots. The track runs through many landmark attractions such as Binhai Middle Road, North Bridge, Shibapan, Xishan Range Rover, Xinghai Bay, Xinghai Park, Xinghai Bay Bridge and other landmark attractions. The contestants set off from Fujiazhuang Park and experience the unique charm of Dalian's mountains and seas in the track across mountains and seas.

As the earliest independent brand 100 cross-country race in China, the Dalian 100 Cross-country Race has developed into an important platform for displaying the city's image and promoting the integration of culture, sports and tourism. This year, based on previous events, we will learn from the successful experience of similar high-quality events at home and abroad, further optimize the track design, integrate into the city's unique scenic spot culture and event inheritance, and promote the city with competitions.

At the same time, a small sports goods exhibition was also set up at the event venue, bringing together major outdoor sports product brands to facilitate citizens to understand and purchase outdoor sports goods. While enjoying the discount, they also have the opportunity to take photos with internet celebrity runners, striving to achieve the goal of "first-class event organization, praise of runners, highlighting urban culture, improving development momentum, and integrating culture, sports and tourism."

At present, all guarantee work for the event has been implemented. A total of 10 supply stations have been set up, 34 important points have been clarified, and more than 50 signs and more than 6,000 signs have been equipped to ensure that the contestants have a clear understanding of the track information and ensure the smooth progress of the competition. A total of more than 600 volunteers have been recruited, covering multiple positions such as service centers, mountain roads, highways, supply stations, and comprehensive event services. In addition, there are volunteer teams from multiple running groups and local running groups across the country to participate in the service.
